Manuscript Submission

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.  Manuscripts should be prepared and submitted to johilngr@hotmail.com only after complying with the following instructions.

Instructions for Authors/ Manuscript Preparation Checklist

  1. All articles are published in English. Submission of an article implies that the work has not been published or considered for publication elsewhere.
  2. Prepare a blinded copy of the submission. Names of authors should NOT appear in the text. Attach a separate cover page that includes the title of the paper, title and affiliation of each author with postal, e-mail addresses and ORCID (if available), and clearly indicate the corresponding author. All Listed authors must satisfy the four ICMJE criteria for authorship (https://www.icmje.org/recommendations/browse/roles-and-responsibilities/defining-the-role-of-authors-and-contributors.html)
  3. With each copy (blinded manuscript and title page), include an abstract not exceeding 250 words. The abstract should provide a brief overview of the paper. Abstract should be followed by up to five keywords.
  4. Manuscripts should not exceed 25 pages or 8000 words including tables, graphs, figures, and references.
  5. Tables, graphs, and figures should be labelled in numerical order with Roman numerals and embedded in the text. Label tables at the top and follow the heading with the title of the table. Label graphs and figures at the bottom. Tables, graphs and figures must be referenced in the text.
  6. Place references in alphabetical order at the end of the text. References should be made only if they are cited in the text; and to works that are published, accepted for publication, or available through libraries or institutions.
  7. In-text citations should be by author and year of publication. Use the current APA (American Psychological Association) style for referencing. The quick guides from USC Library (https://libguides.usc.edu/ld.php?content_id=54526203) and the APA (https://apastyle.apa.org/instructional-aids/reference-guide.pdf) could be useful for this purpose.
